I’m a self-employed tennis coach, mainly doing one-to-ones and a few small groups. For years I used a calendar and Excel, and sorting out the invoices would usually take up a Sunday afternoon.
I wasn’t keen on paying for another app, and getting all my clients set up did take a bit of time. But three months in, I’m getting the monthly invoices done in about half an hour rather than three or four hours. I log the lessons as I go, so I’m not trawling back through messages at the end of the month, trying to work out who I’ve taught and when.
The best bit is that I’m spending less time catching up on admin after coaching. When I finish on court, I’m much more often actually finished for the day. That’s what makes it worth the money.
